How We Use Your Data
We use your personal data only for the following purposes:
- Account creation and access delivery, Your registration details are used to create your MedPREP account and send you your app download link and login credentials.
- Payment verification, Your payment screenshot is reviewed manually by our team to confirm your subscription before access is granted.
- App personalisation, Your usage data powers your personal dashboard, syllabus tracker, weak area detection, flashcard generation, and performance analytics.
- Leaderboard, With your consent, your display name and performance rank may appear on the public MedPREP leaderboard.
- Support and communication, We use your contact details to respond to enquiries and send important service notifications.
- Newsletter, If you subscribed, we use your email to send blog updates and announcements. You may unsubscribe at any time.
We will never use your data for advertising, sell it to third parties, or use it for any purpose not listed above.
Third-Party Services
We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate MedPREP. These are the only external parties that may receive your data:

Data Storage & Security
Your registration data is stored securely and accessed only by the MedPREP team for the purposes described in this policy. We take reasonable precautions to protect your information from unauthorised access, loss, or disclosure.
Payment screenshots are uploaded to ImgBB for verification and are not stored permanently on our servers beyond what is needed for account confirmation. Once your subscription is verified and activated, the screenshot is retained only for record-keeping purposes.
We retain your account data for as long as your subscription is active and for a reasonable period thereafter for administrative purposes. You may request deletion of your data at any time, see Your Rights below.
MedPREP is a pre-launch platform. As our infrastructure grows, we are committed to maintaining and improving our data security practices in line with industry standards.
Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access, You may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction, You may request that we correct any inaccurate information we hold about you.
- Deletion, You may request that we delete your personal data. Note that deletion will result in the termination of your MedPREP subscription.
- Unsubscribe, You may opt out of newsletter emails at any time by contacting us directly.
- Leaderboard opt-out, You may request that your profile be removed from the public leaderboard at any time.
